Founded in 2020 by Tristan Kalos (ENSTA & HEC, CEO) and Antoine Carossio (Polytechnique & HEC, CTO), we've quickly ascended as a cybersecurity trailblazer in Europe, bagging esteemed recognitions like the Grand Défi Cyber Prize from ANSSI and BPI i-Nov France2030 support from the French Government. In 2023, we took our mission global by joining the renowned Y Combinator accelerator.
Backed by venture capital and having recently secured a $4M Seed round, we are on an accelerated trajectory to become the global authority in API Security. Tristan is cofounder and CEO of Escape. He was a seasoned freelance developer and Machine Learning Researcher at UC Berkeley. He witnessed the API Security problem with his eyes while working for a customer. He saw an entire company database being stolen in 2018 through an API he developed himself. Antoine is cofounder and CTO of Escape. He is a graduate of Polytechnique, one of the most prestigious engineering schools in France, and originally from Biarritz. Antoine has a passion for cybersecurity. Before founding Escape with Tristan, Antoine worked at Apple.
